One can approach this piece from two points of view. It stands on its
own as a container in which different kinds of light are displayed, and
it also can be looked through like a kaleidoscope. Direct sunlight coming
through the aperture projects a scattered burst of light onto the opposite
pane. Indirect light creates soft, atmospheric and mysterious space inside.
Looking into the aperture, which is slightly convex, one sees a misty
and magnified world.
